We are excited and proud to announce that “Brit Night”, a tradition that has followed club-owner Amy McGrath from the Rosebud to Radio is now in our hands.

To celebrate, we’re donning the mantle of our favorite band – Radiohead. We’ve found a couple of fantastic bands to join us. We could not be more excited to see our friends in Southern Lust Club recreate their epic costume-heavy David Bowie set from last Halloween and are really excited to see The Deep North tackle the challenge of portraying The Smiths.

    Set Times
  • 9:30pm – The Deep North as The Smiths
  • 10:30pm – The Interrobang as Radiohead
  • 11:30pm – Southern Lust Club as David Bowie
  • Be on the lookout for a possible surprise opening act….

Boston.com calls “The Interrobang” (EP) a record with “polish and craft” layered with “with noise, solos, and other sonic detours.”

Scott McLennan who writes Boston.com’s “Boston by Beat” spoke with Johnny and Mick about the album and their upcoming release party and residency at Radio. Mr. McLennan had some kind words for the project, an excerpt of which can be found below:

The band also avoids quick hits, layering each song with noise, solos, and other sonic detours. All five members chip in to and sign off on lyrics that take shape on a white board in the band’s practice space, which leads to some pretty winding narratives. So if you’re looking for a band with some sardonic edge, you’ll do well by The Interrobang.

MusicBox Pete calls “The Interrobang” (EP) “Dark”, “ambitious” and “a formidable force”

Pete of MusicBox Pete, gave the record a spin and offers up his opinions on the band both on-stage and off-stage. Here’s a portion of what he had to say.

Dark…ambitious…non-comformist…[The Interrobang] are formidable force to be reckoned with, both on-record and on-stage.”

The Interrobang (EP) is “focused”, “power-driven” and “identifiable” says Bishop & Rook

The reviews have begun to roll in for our new self-titled record.

    Kristin from
Bishop & Rook gave the record a spin and caught up with us for a couple of quick questions about the direction of the band. Here’s a portion of what she had to say. You can find the rest of the writeup/interview here.

A heavier rock-infused project, the direction of The Interrobang appears to be focused and power-driven. Despite the darker tones in ‘Chaos & Confusion’ and ‘Bombs Away’, The Interrobang produces some catchy tracks including ‘American DebtSlave’ with a very identifiable and fairly self-explanatory message, ”I wake, I work, I sleep, I pay and I wonder why I played this game”, and my personal favorite, the tight and enticing ‘All Smiles’ with a killer line, “My reputation’s gravely misunderstood.”

Our thanks to Bishop & Rook for their kind words and coverage!
