So, we’ve got this pretty awesome live record coming out in the fall entitled “This is live.” and we are pretty psyched about it.

And Mick has been all Mastermindy, coming up with a big ole marketing and release plan to get everyone excited about it. But then ReverbNation drops us a line and makes us an offer we couldn’t refuse.

They lined up a big ole sponsor (MS Windows) to buy our song for us, so they could give it back to you for FREE. How sweet is that? Kind of a rob from the rich, give to the poor kinda deal…except the rich guys are kinda robbing themselves! How nice of them!

The performance, like the entire album, was recorded on April 25, 2009 at New York City’s oldest and most legendary rock club (that’s still standing, anyway) - The Bitter End.

We got a call from Mike’s camp on the 4th of July asking us if we could play a last-minute gig at the House of Blues Foundation Room (the ultra-swanky VIP club) and we had just one question - what about the SP-aRmy? Well, we got the answer we wanted…

This show is FREE!!! We’re gonna have some fun with it, most likely playing a longer (or even multiple) set and you may just even get a preview of what’s being built for record number 2!!! 

Even though the show is free, we do encourage you guys to donate ten bucks to the campaign. That’s normally the cost for an SPR show…(and we normally play at a venue that’s not even half as nice, accommodating, or exclusive as this one.
