We’re psyched to get the opportunity to play one of the coolest up and coming rooms in the area - Radio!

We’re so excited, in fact, that we’re doing two really awesome things for this one:

First: We are going to debut a bunch of new music. We’ve got an EP coming out later this year and most (if not all) of the material for this album will be played at this show, some of it for the very first time!

Second: We’re giving away free t-shirts! You know those Mad Libs-y kinda stickers we’ve had? Well they’re shirts now!

We’re playing with Osaka Street Cutter and Modernist.

SPR joins Scene Stand at the Middle East (down) for Mick’s birthday! - April 14th

So you know how we play a big spring show around Mick’s birthday every year? Well this year we found a REAL big one.

It’s a festival-style show at the infamous Middle East downstairs (where we dropped the record last year). There are 8 bands and TWO stages (main and side). Meaning there will be no awkward changeover times, the rock will just keep right on coming. When one stage stops, another one starts.

We love playing big stages and this is one of the biggest in Boston (er..Cambridge).

Come rock with us and help wish Mick a happy birthday!

We’re making two radio appearances today (suck on THAT Glenn Beck)!

1) UnRegular Radio Interview at Noon on The Local Boston Music Show!
Ryan and Mick will be in the studio with our old buddy Dave Crespo who is promoting our show tomorrow night at the Rosebud. It’s always a good time hanging with him, so have a listen at UnRegular Radio.com!

2) In-studio acoustic performance with Joe G and Sarah Blacker on “Droppin Knowledge” - WMBR 88.1FM - MIT radio
The rest of us (sans James who couldn’t get out of work) will meet up with our old buddy Sarah Blacker and our new buddy Joe G and hit the terrestrial wavelengths with an acoustic performance. We’ve got a few tracks off the new record to play, so if you haven’t heard the new stuff yet, this is your chance. Can’t get 88.1? You can listen online by visiting WMBR online!

After a brief stint in the studio, we’re starting the year on the road and heading to Brooklyn, the home of Mario AND Luigi!

We’re playing at a really cool room called Bar Matchless..it’s an old auto repair shop in Green Point which means most of our on-stage banter will consist of “Ayyyy” and “Jeeeeez” and “Hey whoa whoa”.

We’re playing with some seriously awesome bands:
