In addition to being Johnny Malone’s nickname in college (hiyo!), Johnny D’s is also a pretty famous rock club.
It’s also the bar in Davis Square that keeps it goin the latest and we just so happen to have finagled ourself a big ole headlining spot. We go on around 11:30 and we play till they tell us to shut the fuck up!
Because we get to play a bit longer, we will probably dust off some of the oldies (no, not Meet Me On the Way) and we are ABSOLUTELY playing at least two BRAND NEW SONGS.
We use caps for EMPHASIS.
Yeah!

So, we’re actually trying to act like real rockstars to push our record to radio and media. So, we figured we should do what lots of real rockstars have done before us - we’ve partnered with Powderfinger Promotions!
So, from here on in, they’ll be handling all of our radio/press stuff for us for the new record, which leaves Mick a lot more time during the day to do (and hate) his day job and it leaves the rest of the band more time to rehearse and write material! Powderfinger actually has a pretty sweet roster of artists that we’ve joined, you should check them out (I mean…Bootsy Collins?! GTFO!). In addition, Powderfinger alums include 311, Drive-By Truckers, Gov’t Mule, Rick Danko of The Band, The Dresden Dolls and more! You know…shit…if it worked for them, it could work for us….right?….*hopeful smile*?
But yeah, if any of all y’all work at, or know any one that works at a radio station, blog, magazine, newspaper, newsletter, over-active-opinionated-twitterer, etc.. well, it’d be pretty sweet if you flipped them the info below. We’re always willing and appreciative to talk about the group and/or the record. Shit, we’ll even call in sick to the day jobs if we have to..

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have been selected the 2011 Dewey Beach Music Conference! For those unfamiliar, it is (according to their website):
Three nights of showcases and two days of demo & mentoring sessions, tradeshow and industry meet & greet events..and unique events such as industry cruises on the bay and VIP parties at outdoor beach clubs.
So…yeah. Pretty friggin sweet, right?
We’re headlining the “A” stage at the Bottle & Cork club on Friday night, September 23rd.
And thus begins our plan to conquer the USA one small state at a time. Rhode Island…you’re on notice.
